About GTI
Founded in February 1993, Global Tae Kwon-Do International (GTI) was established by a group of likeminded Instructors who wished to belong to an independent ITF style association which would not only offer a first class service to promote their martial art, but also that it would operate in a manner that was truly democratic and therefore accountable to its instructor membership.
With this in mind the GTI operates and is registered as a non-profit making organisation with all of its School Instructors forming the Associations's Committee. This ensures that the Instructor body has the final say on all matters relating to any changes to the GTI's constitution & rules at each AGM, as well as electing its Officers who serve for a three year term.
The day to day running of the organisation is performed by an unpaid Management Team which consists of the Association's Officers as well as other individuals tasked with various roles to deliver the GTI's services to its membership.
