GTI charity events
In 2016, Global Taekwondo International raised over £4,800. Our representatives delivered a cheque for £2,710 to Leicester Hospital’s Leukaemia Unit before Christmas to provide items for the ward's physio-rehabilitation unit which included a specialist chair to transport patients as well as weights and cooling fans.
About the GTI
Some of the Charities we have supported include:
- £2,710 for Leicester Hospitals Leukaemia Wards
- £1287 for SANDs UK – thanks to GTI Bridgnorth B
- £324.30 for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice – thanks to GTI Liverpool Halewood clubs
- £315 for the Evelyn Mae Fund - thanks to GTI Bridgnorth B
- £130 for Marie Curie – thanks to a number of individual GTI students
We also raise money through the following:
- Annual GTI 100 x 1 min rounds of sparring
- 22 mile Bridgnorth walk
- Lego brick ‘fire walk’
- Collection buckets or tins
